Society GONE WRONG!

SERIOUSLY, I AM GOING TO ENTITLE A WHOLE POST TO THIS CASE THAT HAPPENED. If all of you have watched the news or even have a fb account you would have known that there is this case in China that a 2 year old female toddler, getting run down by two lorries and she could have been saved or at least have a higher chance of survival if only people have responded to her. BUT NO! 

18 PEOPLE WHO OBVIOUSLY DOESN'T HAVE A HEART IN THEM WALKED PASSED HER!! 18!!!!

In the end, this rag-and-bone lady, dragged her off the road into a save corner so that she would not be further run down by anymore vehicle. But still somemore heartless people can even mention that this lady did it to be famous! What is wrong with society nowadays! Instead of showing sympathy to the little toddler, people start criticising acts of kindness! 

Btw, if you still are not sure what I am talking about. This is the video on the whole incident. It is really HEART WRENCHING! 

I am not sure if the toddler have passed her critical stage and reach a stable stage for her injury. But i pray hard that she is currently doing fine! Though this incident did not happen in the country I am living in, but this doesn't mean that people in our country are behaving morally right. This incident clearly shows how the society have changed, and it has changed for the worst and not the better. This incident just brings us closer to see how scary this society have become to. It is not about what country they are born in that those 18 people behave this way, cause I do not want to stereotype here. In fact, it is the moral sense in them. 

If only people would drop the thinking as such : "Someone will call the ambulance, but the person is not me" or " Someone will save her, but not me, I have no time for it". IF only people would think a different way : "Have anyone called for a ambulance? I should call. " or "What happen to her? I should help her." I believe things would have turned another way. Did you realise the fact that the usual thinking that we have is so self-centered, the subject is on us but for the other case the subject is the victim. So if only people would start thinking for others and themselves the society would be a much better place to live in. 

And the news reported that in the end, the first driver that ran her down when to turn in the police on his own accord. But does it even help? If you were to turn in to the police, why didn't he came down from the vehicle to check out on the little girl and bring her to the hospital to save her instead of driving over her to cause more serious injury. This only goes to show that this person, at the very point only thought of his very own interest! IF he could have thought about the little girl nothing of sort would have happened. 

I suddenly remember watching this movie on a kid that was working on his social studies project, and the project given was to change the world. What he came out with was called " Paying it forward".

This campaign he came out with was an example that goes to show of putting a thought to others as well as yourself. This campaign works by doing a good deed to someone and in exchange for getting any repayment for the person who received the deed, this person is suppose to do an act of kindness to 3 other person and this goes on and the cycle repeats itself in the society.

Though the ending of the movie was that the kid sacrificed his life to help a friend being bullied but it shows that compassion still exist even from a heart of a young life. If the society works this way, it will be filled with more compassion coming from everyone. Animal cruelty, child abusing and acts of morally wrong would have not occur. 

Let's all hope that society changes for the better and not the worst! By doing our little part, to make the society more BEAUTIFUL!
